Bilingual School Social Worker (Spanish Speaking)
Description
The primary task of the School Social Worker position is to help students and families make the best use of available opportunities and resources and to fully develop each student’s individual potential. In addition, the social worker provides the necessary professional skills to assist students and their families with problem solving and conflict resolution.

Salary is based on educational degree and completed years of experience.
A $3,000 Retention Stipend will be offered to all newly hired certified teachers during their first year of employment.

Requirements
Masters Degree in Social Work.
New Jersey Educational Services Certificate with a School Social Worker endorsement.
LSW
Two or more successful years experience in working with families and community health and social service agencies preferred.
Candidate must receive an approved Criminal History Record Report.
Bilingual: Spanish-Speaking (Required)
