The McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act ensures that students experiencing housing instability or homelessness have equal access to a free and appropriate public education. Our school is committed to supporting families with dignity, respect, and care.
🤝 What This Means for Families
Students who qualify under McKinney-Vento are entitled to supports that help ensure school stability, including:
- Immediate enrollment in school, even without required documents
- Continued attendance at their school of origin, when appropriate
- Transportation assistance to and from school (when eligible)
- Access to school meals and educational services
- Support from school staff and social workers

We work closely with families to ensure students remain connected to school and receive the support they need to succeed. This includes:
- Helping families navigate enrollment and school services
- Connecting families with housing and community resources
- Providing ongoing social and emotional support through our support team
- Collaborating with staff to support student stability and learning
